Program Coordinator
The
Religious Education Department at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish is now seeking qualified candidates for the part-time hourly
position of Program Coordinator. The position would entail working 2 days per week (14-18 hours), with
regular hours from 1:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesdays during the program year (October – May).
Responsibilities would include:
- Providing for the administrative and logistical needs of the
Tuesday Afterschool Religious Education Program
- Providing general administrative assistance for all Religious Education Programs
- Other responsibilities as
determined by the Director of Religious Education
The successful candidate
would have:
- A high school diploma and some administrative experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer proficiency
including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.
- A warm personality in assisting catechists and parents, and the capability to maintain
discretion and professional confidentiality
- Preferably some experience as a catechist in a Religious Education program
