Dear Parents,
Registrations for Sunday Preschool at Our
Lady Star of the Sea are being accepted for the new school year. Classes will begin the third week in September
and continue to be held during the 9:30 Mass until the first week of May.
The Sunday Preschool
Program is divided into three sections by age: Three year olds, Four year olds and Five year olds.
The Five year olds are typically in Kindergarten. Each class is assigned two teachers, who alternate
teaching weeks. The program uses the series Sharing God's Story. In each
class, children explore Bible stories in fun and active ways. Engaging activities help children make connections between the
Bible stories and daily life. There is also a music class each week. The teachers and children present
special events in November, December, April and May.
