Since this is a religious event, please keep the following in mind: All music must meet liturgical standards once the Mass has begun.  Mass starts with the procession.  All secular music not acceptable within the Mass can be performed as Prelude music.  For those marrying outside the Mass, the same liturgical rules apply to the sacrament.

 

Other important information:  Fees are due the day of the wedding.  Please assign someone the task of paying th Music Minister and cantor/instrumentalists.  Fees can be mailed to the church ahead of time and will be held until after the wedding is completed.  Fees for the music minister, cantor and intrumentalists  vary and will be determined on a per wedding basis. 

 

If you secure your own soloist(s), they must contact the Music Minister for at least one rehearsal at least one week prior to the wedding.  They must forward all music to the Music Minister prior to the rehearsal.  Music must be in the correct key.  Should more than one rehearsal be needed, a $50 rehearsal fee will be added to the Music Minister's regular fee per additional rehearsal.

Also know that the Music Minister will select the Responsorial Psalm, Mass Setting, and Gospel Acclamation.  Please finalize all selections with the Music Minister prior to printing a program, etc.
